Johns Creek Citizens Police Academy starts soon

Jan 20, 2011Johns Creek residents can get an up-close look at how their police department works at the next class of the Citizens Police Academy, which starts Feb. 1.
The nine-week course provides an in-depth look at how the police department is organized and what policies it follows in setting a high standard for community policing.
Classes are open to all Johns Creek residents 21 and older who pass the application process and a criminal history check. Class size is limited to 25 people. Applications are due by Jan. 25.
