Johns Creek has released a schedule of the latest streets to be repaved as the city enters the fifth consecutive year of its Neighborhood Repaving Program.

Crews working for the Johns Creek Public Works Department this season are to pave 8.5 miles of local streets in 16 neighborhoods and 3.3 miles of main roads, according to a city announcement. To see the schedule: https://bit.ly/2vpsn0O

Timing of the work is dependent on the weather, the availability of crews and other factors, officials said. The neighborhood list looks two weeks ahead and will be updated weekly. As of Monday, April 29, for example, The Vicarage, Kensington Oaks, Stevens Creek and The Regency at Wellington are scheduled for paving through May 10.

“Rest assured that we intend to work as fast as possible while maintaining the quality that Johns Creek residents expect,” the city says on its paving website.

In March, the City Council awarded a fiscal 2019 paving contract valued at more than $2.6 million to Allied Paving. Information: https://bit.ly/2DE5lYD
