Jimmy Carter/I-85 lanes closed this week if not rained out

This week’s ongoing construction at the Jimmy Carter/I-85 Diverging Diamond Interchange will close two lanes between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Expect delays east and westbound on Jimmy Carter Boulevard with one right lane closed on each side between Goshen Springs and McDonough Drive.

The new diverging diamond intersection has opened to traffic across the bridge at I-85. Construction crews continue work on the center median, pedestrian walkways, traffic signals, interchange lighting and pavement markings. Information: info@gwinnettvillage.com or www.gwinnettddi.com.
