A group of leaders from Kitahiroshima, Japan visited SunTrust Park and The Battery Atlanta recently in hopes of building a similar complex there for a Japanese professional baseball team.

The Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters want to move their baseball team to a neighboring Japanese city.

Sent by the U.S. State Department, the four Japanese officials received instruction from Cobb County leaders on how SunTrustPark and The Battery Atlanta came together.

These Japanese leaders also learned about traffic control, parking, construction deadlines and other topics.
