Investigators are hoping a sketch of a woman found dead inside a trash bag earlier this month will help lead to her identity.

A postal worker called police on Feb. 2 after coming across a bag bound with duct tape in a wooded area near Park Avenue in southwest Atlanta, police said. Police believe the woman, between the ages of 20 and 40, had been there for less than 24 hours and is a homicide victim.

The black woman was about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighed about 212 pounds, and had brown hair with black roots, according to Laura Salm with the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office. Her right nostril was pierced with a white metal stud with a clear stone, and she was wearing a yellow metal ring on her left ring finger with several clear stones, Salm said.

Additionally, the woman had one tooth on the top that was higher up than the other teeth, Salm said.

Anyone with information about the woman's identity is asked to call the medical examiner's office at 404-613-4400.
