The Atlanta area could see an inch or two of rain over the next couple days, so it’s time to plan accordingly.

Storms were already moving in early Friday afternoon, so bring an umbrella for any possible mad dashes from your car to an indoor concert around town. Or maybe opt for rain boots if you're going to first day of the 2018 Candler Park Music + Food Festival.

Saturday should be warm with a 30 percent chance of rain, according to Channel 2 Action News. Keep that in mind when heading out to events like The Great Speckled Bird's half-century anniversary event or the gospel musical, "Crowns," at the Fulton County Southwest Arts Center.

This is the five-day forecast as of about 1 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018.

More showers are expected Sunday, with the forecast back up to a 60 percent chance of rain. Any potential Atlanta Hawks cheerleaders and dancers should make note of this before heading to auditions.

The chance of rain is down significantly for Monday, of course, at 10 percent. So you should be good and dry when you're at the Atlanta Beltline panel discussion.
