Intersection work to close road

Truman Mountain Road will be closed to through traffic about a quarter-mile north of Ga. 53 for two weeks beginning Friday. Crews will be working on the Ga. 53/Truman Mountain Road intersection improvement project.

The road is scheduled to reopen Aug. 9.

The intersection project is funded through county SPLOST dollars.
