Forsyth County Schools officials are seeking input on the name for a planned sixth high school, set to open on 118 acres between Fowler and Mullinax roads in the fall of 2018.

A school naming committee has come up with three alternatives: Clement High School, after the district’s first superintendent, Isaac Clement; Dr. Denmark High School, honoring Dr. Leila Denmark, a pediatrician who lived and operated her last medical office adjacent to the school site and Union Hill High School, after Union Hill road in south Forsyth.

The deadline to select a name at forsyth.k12.ga.us is April 27. The committee will tabulate results and make a recommendation to the school board in May.
