The Norcross Downtown Development Authority has been working for the past nine months to secure a highly-qualified development team to help bring to life the community’s shared vision for the development area surrounding Lillian Webb Park.

The DDA and this development team will hold a public meeting to engage the community in the planning process at 6:30 p.m. July 10 in the 2nd Floor Community Room of City Hall, 65 Lawrenceville St.

At the outset of the conceptual design planning stage, the architect is seeking input from the community to help guide the overall development design. Participants will be engaged in an interactive and open forum by the design team during this meeting.

According to the city’s website, one of the DDA’s goals is to interest one or more developers in the surrounding park are for a mixed-use commercial and residential complex with plans for substantial additional parking.
