Incumbents, challengers qualify for Stockbridge council seats

Three seats on the Stockbridge City Council are on the November ballot.
The qualifying process is complete for races to fill three Stockbridge City Council seats in the November election.
All three incumbents qualified to run for re-election: Elton Alexander, John Blount and Neat Robinson. Each is seeking a second term on the council. The challengers are Nathan Banks, Yolanda Barber, Jacqueline Blalock, Arthur Christian, Cherice Hollis and Kenneth McFarland. All Stockbridge council seats are at-large, so the top three vote-getters from this group will take office in January.
The three-week early voting period begins Oct. 14 in McDonough, and early voting will also be possible in Stockbridge the week before election day.
