Change a child's life, one pancake at a time.

Today is National Pancake Day, and IHOP is using the holiday to raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

The celebration, which began in 2006, has raised almost $20 million to date. This year's goal is $3.5 million.

As part of the promotion, guests dining at IHOPs around the world receive a complimentary short stack of buttermilk pancakes. In return, they are asked to donate to their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Atlanta-area IHOP donations will go to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The promotion runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on March 8. For a list of locations in your area, click here.
