IHOB is no more. IHOP is back. And it's celebrating its 60th birthday on July 17 with 60-cent short stacks.

IHOB is no more. IHOP is back. And it's celebrating its 60th birthday on July 17 with 60-cent short stacks.

Did you feel lied to when IHOP briefly changed its name to IHOB to promote its burgers?

Perhaps this will ease the pain.

IHOP is back. And on July 17, the International House of Pancakes — NOT BURGERS — will be celebrating its 60th birthday, offering up short stacks of flapjacks for 60 cents.

The promotion lasts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day.

The pancake chain changed its Twitter handle from @IHOB back to @IHOP on Monday. Its brief stint as the International House of Burgers lasted from June 11 to July 9.

Regardless of the name change, it seems like those steakburgers it was promoting are sticking around. They're still at the top of IHOP's website.

“We burger as good as we pancake. And no one pancakes like we pancake,” IHOP says on its website.
