Identity of seriously injured man sought in East Point

East Point authorities are seeking the public’s help to identify an older man found seriously injured on the street.

On Sunday morning, East Point police were called to South Fulton Medical Center. Hospital officials told police the man, who they estimate to be 60 to 70 years old, was brought to the hospital by Rural Metro Ambulance after being found on the ground in the 2800 block of Concord Court in East Point.

The black man appeared to have serious burns on the middle parts of his body and had several broken bones, including ribs and a broken jaw. Due to his injuries, the man was unable to speak with officers.
