The Cherokee County School District has scheduled a job fair in March for teacher applicants, school nutrition workers and school bus drivers.

The fair will be held from 9 a.m. to noon March 4, at River Ridge High School in Woodstock. More than 500 job seekers attended a similar fair last year.

Cherokee school officials said they expect to need teachers in special education, math and science at the elementary, middle and high school levels. Vacancies also are anticipated for school psychologists and speech language pathologists. A video for teaching candidate can be viewed at: http://bit.ly/2kZ885X

For school nutrition workers, restaurant or food service experience is a plus but not required. School bus driver candidates do not need to have commercial driver’s licenses to apply; the certification can be obtained after hiring.

Interested persons are encouraged to complete an online application before the job fair. Information: http://bit.ly/2ltTUH9
