Houston Mill Road to close for repair work

Houston Mill Road between Logans Knoll and North Gatewood Road will be closed to traffic for several weekends, according to a press release from the city.

The road will shut down for repair work starting Friday, May 13, through Monday, May 16. It will also be closed between May 20 – May 23 and May 27 – May 30 as well. Each Friday the bridge will close at 8 p.m. and reopen Monday at 5 a.m.

The city said in the release it plans to post road closure signs in the area. It asks anyone with questions to contact DeKalb County Roads and Drainage Senior Engineer Terrence Simpkins at (404) 294 - 2040.
