The Marcus Jewish Community Center will commemorate a day of Holocaust remembrance Sunday at its Dunwoody campus.

The Yom HaShoah observance features Jim Barfield, an attorney and author, as well as the lighting of six torches in memory of the six million people who died in the Holocaust.

The event runs from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in the Besser Holocaust Memorial Garden at the MJCC, 5342 Tilly Mill Road. The event will be held rain or shine.
