Holly Springs and the Envision Holly Springs project team have scheduled a “visioning workshop” where participants can contribute to the 10-year Livable Centers Initiative update.

The workshop is to begin at 7 p.m., Nov. 7, at the Holly Springs Community Center (the old train depot). “The goal of the plan is to build off the vision of Holly Springs’ new town center while creating a walkable, vibrant downtown with a variety of housing,” according to a flyer for the event.

The study area encompasses nearly 620 acres, and a plan draft is to be presented in January, according to a market study and presentation from the Oct. 3 Core Team meeting. The presentation can be viewed at: http://bit.ly/2xlonhi

Envision Holly Springs is funded by a Livable Centers Initiative grant. The community planning program is sponsored by the Atlanta Regional Commission.
