State Rep. El-Mahdi Holly, who represents a large portion of Henry County, has scheduled a series of events at four of the county’s libraries to engage with constituents.

They are being called “Community Office Hours” and the remaining sessions are scheduled for June 15 at Cochran Library in Stockbridge; June 23 at the McDonough Library; July 19 and 26 at the Fortson Library in Hampton; and July 20 and 27 at the Locust Grove Library. All sessions begin at 2 p.m.

Holly plans to use each session to provide citizens with useful information about issues such as the state budget, teacher pay raises, new resources at public libraries, and roadway improvements, according to a statement.
