Holcomb Bridge Road (Ga. 140) in Roswell will see “rolling” single lane closures nightly through Thursday as Georgia Department of Transportation contractors complete a resurfacing project.

The closures, weather permitting, are planned from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Alpharetta Highway (Ga. 9) and the Gwinnett County line, according to a GDOT announcement.

“These closures will provide safety for drivers and workers as crews install traffic signal loops along the roadway,” GDOT said. “Closures will ‘roll’ with crews as they move from one location to another through the project area. Roadway signs and message boards along the road will alert drivers of the closures in advance.”

The project had been scheduled for completion in February but was delayed by this winter's heavy rainfall, GDOT said. Information: https://bit.ly/2ysJeo8
