Commodore Primous, a freshman at Hillgrove High School, was recently named the winner of the 2012 Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Next Generation Contest. Commodore won for his piece "Lullaby," which he wrote last year at Lovinggood Middle School. Atlanta's bassist and composer Michael Kurth, will help Commodore arrange a version for the city's orchestra to perform.
