Hill Street in Duluth to close for roadwork

Duluth drivers are cautioned to find alternative routes through downtown in the coming weeks.

Hill Street from State Route 120 to Brock Road will be closed for road reconstruction beginning Monday. No through traffic will be permitted.

Vehicles can use nearby Main Street from SR 120 to Brock Road as an alternate route.

The Hill Street roadwork construction is part of Duluth’s ongoing $3.5 million transportation project begun in January.

The project includes three phases, beginning with Main Street Parking, phase I and II, and ending with the State Route 120 realignment, sidewalks, and gateway improvements, phase III.
