Higher water and sewer rates for Clayton Water Authority users effective Jan. 1

Clayton County Water Authority customers will see a five percent higher water and sewer rate and a five percent increase in usage charges effective Jan. 1. The new rates will be reflected on February’s bill. The rate hike means a $2.10 increase in the average customer’s monthly water and sewer bill.
