It’s taking a while for the cold weather to get here, but it’ll get here eventually. And when it does, you should be ready to make the most of the holidays.

The Battery Atlanta will have Santa Claus and a Christmas tree around for the festivities near SunTrust Park.

The tree will be lit at 7 p.m. on Nov. 30. Word is that there will be some Braves players there and “The Polar Express” is expected to be projected for all to see.

The holly jolly man shows up Nov. 23. All visits with Santa will include free digital and printed photos, organizers said. On Christmas Eve, he’ll be around from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
