The Henry County Board of Commissioners took action on a few SPLOST projects at its May 5 regular meeting. Commissioners approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Henry County Water Authority for the design and construction of two new sewer lines, one to Fairview Road in Ellenwood and the other to the Henry County Airport in Hampton.
The $4 million price tag is budgeted under the county’s newest SPLOST in the calendar year 2015 budget. Also approved was a construction bid of nearly $1.5 million for intersection improvements at East Lake Road and Hwy. 20 that will include a new roundabout.
