Henry SPLOST Committee seeks public input

The Henry County SPLOST IV Committee continues to meet weekly to hear public suggestions for capital and transportation projects to include in the proposed SPLOST IV program. The next meetings are May 2 at Ola Elementary School at 6 p.m. and May 9 at 4 p.m. at the Henry County Administration Building. The meetings will air live on Henry TV, channel 14 for Charter customers and channel 99 for AT&T U-Verse customers. The committee will create a project list to recommend to the Board of Commissioners to put on a proposed SPLOST IV ballot initiative. The findings will help commissioners decide whether to hold a referendum on the continuation of the SPLOST program. For more information, log onto www.henrycounty-ga.org/splost.
