Henry schools veteran named assistant superintendent

Henry County Schools Human Resources Director Virgil Cole has been named an assistant superintendent for the school district. He will move to his new job on April 1 when Rodney Bowler becomes superintendent of the school district. Cole will lead the school system’s administrative services department which oversees facilities and maintenance, technology, and transportation, while also managing athletic issues, enrollment and attendance, and school safety.
