Henry school receives STEM designation

Pleasant Grove Elementary School in McDonough welcomed officials from the Georgia Department of Education recently. The school received the official recognition for their science, technology, engineering and mathematics certification.

State School Superintendent Richard Woods was among those on hand to mark the occasion, see the progress of the school and celebrate with those in attendance.
