Henry K-9 officer passes away

The Henry County Police Department announced that one of its retired K-9 officers, Kazan, has passed away at the age of 10. He was euthanized Jan. 30 due to medical complications. After joining the department in January of 2008, he partnered with two different officers until his retirement last October. A department spokesperson said Kazan was responsible for more than five million dollars in assets and seizures during his tenure.
