Henry DOT to apply for road beautification grant

The Henry County Department of Transportation has gained approval from the Board of Commissioners to apply for the State Aid Office’s Roadside Enhancement and Beautification Council (REBC) Grant. Up to $50,000 is available and could be used for the purpose of landscaping, purchasing of plant material and installation that would enhance the state right-of-way.
