The Henry County Zoning Advisory Board voted at its Nov. 21 regular meeting to recommend approval with conditions for a rezoning from RA (residential-agricultural) to R-3 (single-family residential) for 41.2 acres on the north side of Hampton-Locust Grove Road to the north of Brindley Way, west of Hwy. 155.

In a separate vote, the ZAB recommended approval of an amendment to the county’s Future Land Use Map delegation from commercial to low-density residential for the same property. A 30-acre tract on the south side of Hampton-Locust Grove Road to the west of Brindley Way was recommended for rezoning from RA to R-1 for a single-family residential subdivision. Final approval or denial will come from the Henry County Board of Commissioners.
