Henry County will hold a virtual town hall Thursday to discuss the coronavirus, including where the hotspots are in the community and what testing will look like.

The event, set for 10 a.m., will be available via Zoom and broadcast on Spectrum Channel 180 through the county website and Facebook Live. To view the meeting through the county website, visit henrycounty-ga.com/watchTV.

The town hall, hosted by commission chairwoman June Wood, will include participants such as District 4 Department of Public Health Director Dr. Olugbenga Obasanjo, Henry County Emergency Management Director Don Ash and Piedmont Henry Hospital CEO Dr. Lily Henson.

The county said it is planning a second meeting for later in the month to include panelists from the Henry school board, county chamber and Connecting Henry. They will discuss distance learning, homeschooling tips and small business resources.
