The senior classes at several Henry County public schools in 2019 showed increased Scholastic Aptitude Test score averages over the previous year, according to data recently released by the district.

Dutchtown High, Eagle’s Landing High, Hampton High, Locust Grove High, Ola High and Woodland High all saw increases to their mean composite scores by an average of eight points. Four of these high schools – Dutchtown, Eagle’s Landing, Hampton, and Locust Grove – saw increases to both their Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (ERW) scores as well.

While there were fewer test-takers overall this year for the district, five out of 10 schools saw increases to the number of senior students taking the test in 2019.
