The Henry County School System has set open house dates and times for parents and students heading into the 2019-2020 school year, which starts in less than three weeks.
Officials have designated Tuesday, July 30, as the date for families to meet new teachers and administrators and learn about their schools for the coming year. Open house times are 1-3 p.m. for high schools, 3-5 p.m. for middle schools and 5-7 p.m. for elementary schools. The Academy for Advanced Studies, the school system’s college and career academy, will welcome students and families from noon until 2 p.m. on the same day.
Open house for Impact Academy, the district’s virtual school program, is scheduled for Monday, July 29, at 4 p.m. for middle school students and 6 p.m. for high schoolers. The first day of school is Aug. 1.
