The Henry County School System announced recently that 41,750 students were in attendance as of the second day of classes Aug. 2, and current projections are for 42,240 total enrollment for the current school year.

This projection would be an increase of 614 students from the 2015-2016 actual enrollment, a rise of 1.41 percent. Actual enrollment on the second day of school is only 490 students under projections. All of this data was reported at last week’s Henry County Board of Education work session.
