The Henry County Board of Education has been designated an Exemplary School Board by the Georgia School Boards Association during its recent state conference in Atlanta. This marks the highest honor any board of education in Georgia can received based on GSBA’s recognition program. The Henry school board achieved the association’s other two designations — quality and distinguished — in the past two years. Only 35 out of 180 school districts in Georgia can claim exemplary status. Information: www.henry.k12.ga.us.
