Henry County names Commission vice-chair

The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted Jan. 3, in its first order of business for the year, to name Commissioner Bruce Holmes as its vice-chair for 2018. The move was in line with the board’s customary practice of rotating the position annually among the five district commissioners.

The vote was unanimous.

Also as required every January, the board voted to appoint its county clerk and deputy county clerk, and those were unchanged as Stephanie Braun and Consuelo Conner were approved unanimously.
