Graduation rates for Henry County public school students improved to 86.3 percent for 2017, an increase from 85.3 percent the previous year and 5.7 percentage points above the state average.

When compared to other districts across Georgia in 2017, Henry County had the sixth largest senior class, and the school system graduated the fifth most seniors in the state. In both comparisons – top six largest systems based on senior class size and top five largest systems based on seniors graduated - Henry County’s graduation rate trailed only Fulton County.

All regular high schools in the county boast a graduation rate above that of the state average for the third straight year. Dutchtown High School had the largest increase by a total of 5.4 percentage points. Eagle’s Landing, Hampton, Locust Grove, Stockbridge, and Union Grove high schools all saw their rates increase. Over a five-year period, all high schools in the county have increased their graduation rate by an average of 8.2 percentage points.
