Henry County is encouraging residents to drop their Christmas trees off at the south metro community’s recycling center.

The county says the recycling center is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

In addition to Christmas trees, the center also takes yard debris like clippings, branches, limbs, grass and leaves. Other recyclables include glass (clear, amber, green), tin cans and plastics such as juice, soda and water bottles.

For a full list of recyclable items visit henrycounty-ga.com/recycling.

The recycling center is located at 65 West Asbury Road in McDonough. For more information, call 770-288-6410.
