The Henry County Board of Commissioners took time during its Jan. 7 regular meeting to recognize nearly 70 county employees who reached significant milestones in their years of service on the job.

Thirty-one employees were cited for 20 years with the county, along with 18 employees who reached the 25-year mark and 15 who have been employed 30 years or more. All of them received service awards. Five other employees were also recognized upon their impending retirement.

“It’s always great to recognize our team members,” said deputy county manager Brad Johnson after making the presentations. “Everything we do every day would not be possible without our staff.”
