The Henry County Board of Commissioners approved a $124,999 expenditure for the renewal of HP support services for various technology devices. The unanimous vote came at the board’s April 17 regular meeting.
A purchase of three storage (SAN) devices from Dasher Technologies was made in 2011, but Dasher is no longer in business and the support and services was assumed by TSA Technologies. As the agreement is now expiring, county staff recommended the purchase of one year of HP support services from TSA via a state contract, with an annual maintenance increase of up to 10 percent per year also approved.
