Three seats are up for grabs this year on the Henry County Board of Commissioners, and two of them will definitely be filled by newcomers.
Chairman Tommy Smith is not running for another term, and four people qualified for that seat: Democrat Carlotta Harrell and Republicans June Wood, Larry K. Morey and Lisa McGarity.
District 2 Commissioner Brian Preston is also not running again, and three will vie for that seat: Democrat Dee Clemmons along with Republicans Edward Toney and Jeffrey Robinson.
Incumbent Bo Moss will run again for his District 1 seat against two other Republicans: Jerry Timbs II, R. “Rusty” Cochran and Johnny Wilson.
