The Henry County Zoning Advisory Board will convene for its July 11 regular meeting and hear five rezoning requests.

One is for an R-2 rezoning to allow a 31-acre residential subdivision on Mount Bethel Road, and another is for an R-3 zoning to permit a 43-acre residential subdivision on South Hampton Road in the city of Hampton. Two requests are to allow R-2 developments with sewer, a 95-acre tract on Jones Drive and a 75-acre site on North Ola Road. A 40-acre site between Hwy. 19/41 and Old Hwy. 3 is the subject of a request for mixed-use zoning for a warehouse/distribution facility. The Zoning Advisory Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners’ meeting room at the county administration building, 140 Henry Parkway in McDonough.

All rezoning requests will ultimately be heard by the Board of Commissioners for a final decision.
