The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted at its Sept. 18 regular meeting to approve a zoning reversion for 51.23 acres of property on Rex Road south of its intersection with Wagon Wheel Drive.

According to staff documents, the property is the site of a single-family residential subdivision development that was ultimately abandoned. The request from Rex Road Henry 52 LLC was for a rezoning from R-2 (single-family residential) back to RA (residential-agricultural). Also approved was a rezoning request from Mandalay Properties of Cumming for one acre located at 100 Coulter Woods.

The change is from RA to R-4 so that the property can be divided into three lots and houses developed there.
