The Henry County School System has announced the six teachers who are semifinalists for the district’s Teacher of the Year award: Janae’ Cohen, Red Oak Elementary; Christy Collier, Locust Grove Middle; Dawn Ford, Union Grove Middle; Andra Gammage, Woodland High; Jaime Henck, Luella High; and Krissie McCampbell, New Hope Elementary.
One of them will be named Teacher of the Year at the district’s annual awards night scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Henry County Performing Arts Center.
Teachers from all 53 of the district’s schools will be honored along with other staff members.
