Hearings scheduled for two APS schools IDed to close

Two community meetings will be held at Atlanta's D.H. Stanton Elementary and Towns Elementary to discuss the recommendation to close these schools at the end of the school year. The meetings will be held at the respective schools on Thursday and Monday at 6:30 p.m. Parents and community members can also submit feedback by emailing apsredistricting@atlantapublicschools.us. The Atlanta school board is expected to vote on the redistricting plan Tuesday.
