By Bill Rankin
Nov 16, 2011

A judge has scheduled a Dec. 16 hearing to determine the fate of the homeless shelter at Peachtree and Pine streets.

In a recent order, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Craig Schwall said he wants to determine the state of the shelter, including utilities and cleanliness. He also said he wants to receive information on the services provided to the shelter's residents, how many people stay there each night, how many of the residents can obtain other adequate housing and what would happen to the residents if they are displaced.
