Health board offering flu shots in DeKalb

The DeKalb Board of Health is offering $20 flu shots at its four health centers around the county.

A nurse from the board recently gave the shot to six of the seven county commissioners, to spotlight the need for the seasonal vaccine. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that anyone over the age of 6 receive the shot yearly.
