Believed to be the oldest home in Buckhead, this pre-Civil War home, located at 1450 W. Wesley Road, was likely built some time in the 1830s. The original location of the home was the North Georgia town of Resaca. It was moved to Buckhead in 1959, which was also about the time that a very modern landmark, Lenox Square, opened in Buckhead.
