Want to smother your significant other with love, but scattered on how to show your true feelings? Waffle House has you covered.
You can get your chocolate chip waffle with a side of romance at nine metro Atlanta Waffle House locations. CEO Walt Ehmer promises “soft music, great food and a welcoming atmosphere” at select restaurants across the Southeast, according to a press release.

Locations participating include the restaurants at 1515 McFarland Pkwy. in Alpharetta, 3441 Ernest W. Barret Pkwy. in Marietta and 4797 Canton Road, also in Marietta. You can see a full list of locations in Georgia and beyond at the company's website.
But why stop at just dinner? You can achieve the classic dinner-and-a-movie combination at three of the locations offering Valentine’s Day reservations. Locations in Acworth, Buford, Lawrenceville and Stone Mountain are short drives from area movie theaters.
The 3275 Cobb Pkwy. location in Acworth is less than a mile from NCG Acworth Cinema — a six-minute drive or 11-minute walk, according to Google Maps. The Mall of Georgia is a 10-minute drive from the Waffle House on 4115 Buford Dr., so you can catch a movie at the IMAX theater or have your sweetheart pick out a gift. It’s only a mile and a half from the 1205 Lakes Pkwy. Waffle House to the AMC Colonial 18 theater in Lawrencceville, and less than a mile from the Waffle House at 5245 Stone Mountain Highway to NCG Stone Mountain Cinema.
If public transportation helps you elevate the romantic mood, there are two Valentine’s Day Waffle House locations convenient to MARTA. The Waffle House at 5071 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. in Chamblee is only 0.7 miles from the Chamblee MARTA station, about a 13-minute walk (and a prime hand-holding opportunity). The only in-town Waffle House participating in the Valentine’s Day promotion, located at 2264 Cheshire Bridge Road NE, is a quick ride on the red or gold line to Lindbergh Center, where you can take the 6 or 27 bus to Lindbergh Drive at Cheshire Bridge Road. From there, a mere 0.1-mile walk separates you and your sweetheart from sweet, sweet waffles.
You must have a reservation to get the full Valentine's Day experience, so find your closest participating location and call ahead. The full list, including phone numbers, is here.
