Applications will become available Jan. 1. for Fulton County Schools parents who want to apply for a student’s hardship transfer to another elementary, middle or high school for 2015-16, or to renew a student’s current transfer status.

Parents and students can seek such a transfer for medical issues, curriculum differences, or child care situations. Applications should be made on the student assignment office portion of the Fulton County Schools website, at fultonschools.org. The deadline is 4:30 p.m. Feb. 17.
